Tips for the Journey Home

After a long weekend of adventures, self-discovery and celebrating with new and old friends, getting home should be the easiest part! We put together some advice to make sure you have and safe journey home from Neon Jungle. Before you hit the road, make sure you’re well-prepared with some of our top tips:

🚦 Take Your Time: Don’t be in a rush to leave the festival grounds on Sunday. Take a breather, rest and recharge before hitting the road.

🚗 Plan a Designated Driver: Arrange a designated driver, especially if you’re leaving on Sunday morning. Find someone who’s well-rested, ensuring they’ve had a good night’s sleep.Remember to be patient and show kindness to others on the road.

🧑‍✈️ Designate a Co-Pilot: Friends make the journey more fun, right? Choose a trusty co-pilot who’ll keep you entertained, help with directions, and curate a solid road trip playlist. Find someone who’ll stay awake with your designated driver, engage in conversations, and watch out for signs of fatigue.

⌛ Plan for Delays: Get ready for some unexpected delays. Traffic might get heavy, and you might encounter police roadblocks along the way. Prepare yourself by planning ahead. Pack enough water and snacks to stay hydrated and energized while waiting for the traffic to clear.

🚗 Ensure Your Vehicle is Road Safe: If you’ll be driving on the highway, give your vehicle a quick check-up. Make sure your headlights are working properly, and you’ve got all the necessary documents like insurance and registration at hand. And of course, your designated driver should have a valid license.

🏨 Consider Accommodation on the Road: If you have a long drive ahead, why not check out a local hotel, motel, or camping option to turn your journey back into a mini-adventure? Be sure to book ahead of time if possible.
